Costa Rica Decaffeinated (Swiss Water Process)

Costa Rica’s coffee industry is well established and successful. It is also recognised as one of the most Environmentally Sustainable countries in the world. So it only seems natural to try out their Swiss Water Process decaffeinated coffee. Costa Rica is known to produce coffee beans that are full bodied and characteristically taste of chocolate with notes of lemon, honey and caramel. We believe they are versatile enough to handle many different brewing methods and so a great choice as a decaf.
The Swiss Water Process came to life in Switzerland during the 1930s. This process is less invasive to the final coffee and with superior taste to chemical processes. Not only is it certifiable as an organic process, this method really does offer a great tasting alternative.
