Guatemala produces some of the world’s finest and most distinctive coffees. The country’s unique coffee producing regions have gained a positive and well known reputation in the industry. Coffee is Guatemala’s number one export contributing to the country’s growing economic status.
These Guatemalan Fair Trade green beans have been grown and processed by the FEDECOCAGUA Co-operative. Established in 1969, FEDECOCAGUA is a cooperative organisation with 20,000 members. Seventy percent of co-op members are members of indigenous groups from various regions of Guatemala, including Huehuetenango.
Grown at elevations of  1,350m – 1,900m, this Strictly Hard Bean has undergone wet processing and outdoor patio drying to achieve its good acidity and body.

Full City Roast

Bold, yet buttery smooth this quality coffee contains notes of dark chocolate, caramel and a hint of orange. It consistently produces a flavour that is round in body, and of medium acidity.
SHB stands for “Strictly Hard Bean” meaning that the plants have been grown in high altitudes and the beans are considered to be of high quality.

    I have tried several coffees from Peakbean and while they have all been good, this is my favourite so far. It make a nice balanced Americano.
